GPO (can't keep away from it.)

The GPO is one of the most regal buildings in the city. I swear, every photo I take of it looks like a snapshot from Europe.

These two Melbourne males look mighty fine standing on these steps. Perfect examples of the two major melbourne styles that people are sporting at the moment.




Smart and sharp: Pretty sure he could be a poster boy for Jack London.



Unkempt Artist : I know he screams art, but he actually studies science. love it.

I love winter dressing. Everyone takes out their beautiful winter coats (people usually fork out more for those, so they tend to be better tailored than your ordinary jacket) and wraps scarves around their necks. People put more effort into what they put on because they actually have to put on more (in order for them not to freeze to death.)

Winter really is wonderful.

Degraves and Brunswick.

Degraves and Brunswick are quite different, culturally, economically and sartorially.

NGV and GPO

Info: Was in a hurry (to cross the lights)but still allowed me to grab a shot of her brilliant belt and dress. I love the idea of a turtleneck with a cut out dress - pure genius. She was walking from the vca campus to the ngv - hmm I wonder if she is an artist. ha. One thing I must warn you about is that I am still an amateur and therefore I did forget to ask people's names on my first time around town as paparazzi. Also, I learnt that I am going to have to take more than one shot per person, and ask if I can move them around for optimal lighting. Still, not bad for a first shot.


This is a shot of the beautiful Adele which I took outside the NGV in absolutely perfect light. She will feature a lot of this blog because her style is impeccable.



This is gorgeous friendly girl really worked the fluro tights and sandals. I couldn't catch her the first time I saw her so I was lucky to grab her attention the second time I saw her walk out of the gpo. it was fate.
